Used 1974 AMC JAVELIN Retired Show Car for sale in Rome, NY

1974 AMC JAVELIN hasn't been shown in any shows in over a decade other than cruse-ins. Has a Forbs of Matchmaker 304 300hp. 30 over, Comp Cam, Edelbrock performer w/ Holly performance 600 cfm carb. Mallory duel point dist. Dog leg heads, Stainles braided wires, Duel roller timing, 727 TC w/ shift kit, Herrig Bros. 355 Posi rear end w/ Detroit locker. TCI Breakaway convertor. Base coat Clear coat Dupont Black metallic w/ Super Grape metallic T stripe. New front components installed last year. Radial TA,s, American Racing 15" Mags, Very driveable but needs Trans work. Slips when given full power but shifts great going down the road. Paint repair, shines like New but has some paint bubbling in spots around roof line. Interior lights,radio,and blower inop. May be fuses. Has been on the road and used every year for the 27 years I,v owned it. Only reason for selling is to pay for Granddaughters Masters Degree she is starting this year, Car is from Virginia ( SUPER CLEAN! ) until I bought it 27 yrs ago. Always garage kept. Originally modified for mild custom show class. Has taken over 70 awards the 15 years of showing it. 20,000 mi. on older restoration. Runs and drives nice. Removable show panels under hood and trunk lid, Purple as shown and also mirrors for under hood. Upholstered trunk.
