Vehicle Description
Up for sale is a beautiful 1974 Ford Gran Torino - Or as it is more commonly known, The Starsky & Hutch Car
Engine/Drive train was done in 2010. Car originally came with a 302W, was replaced with a Ford 400 (essentially a 351 Cleveland with an inch longer stroke)
-Engine was tore down to the block, sent out and bored .30 over, pressure cleaned and milled.
-New performance pistons
-New Comp Cams camshaft
-Two aluminum Edelbrock 351 performance heads
-Roller tip rockers
-Hardened rods
-Aluminum Performance Weiand Intake manifold
-Edelbrock Aluminum water pump
-Powermaster chrome alternator
-MSD Ignition/Distributer
-Holley 800 cm Carb (plenty of power while remaining fuel efficient)
-Replaced the original FMX transmission with a rebuilt C6
-Replaced all springs and shocks with MOOG performance suspension
-Aluminum dished rims, with BF Goodrich tires
-Hedman Headders with custom exhaust
This car was well cared for and drove on a regular basis. Its a fun car that should be driven and enjoyed, not kept in a garage. Minor rust on rear wheel well lip.
