Used 1971 Ford Torino GT Convertible for sale in Prescott, AZ

I purchased this 1971 Torino on eBay in September 2006. The odometer read 37591. Based on the information I received from the previous owner and the owner before him, I believe that instrument cluster had been replaced. I think the actual mileage was closer to about 95,000 miles. I have no way to prove this. The odometer now reads 38418. With working, moving and medical issues, I have not been able to enjoy this car as planed. I decided to change the timing chain and found that it was original equipment. So, I went ahead and rebuilt the engine. It’s numbers matching. I think the water pump is the only non original engine part. This car has the original 351 Cleveland with a 2 barrel carb and a C4 trans. 3.00 rear axle, hide away headlights, ribbon tach and intermittent wipers. Factory center console with bucket seats and air conditioning. The color is “Pewter” which was special order. It also has the laser stripes, magnum 500 wheels and a power top with back glass. The car starts and runs as it should. Everything on the car works except the air conditioning. This will need to be gone through. This car in no way is a trailer queen. It looks great at shows or just driving down the street. The guy before me put a mild dual exhaust on the car. I re-sleeved the master cylinder with stainless steel. Also has a new battery. The car left the factory with an AM radio. I have a factory AM/FM radio in there now. It could be serviced to bring in all the stations. I’m selling it because in need to make room.
