Vehicle Description
I am selling my baby. Described as "museum quality" by a long-time smog shop owner, this 1976 Dodge Aspen is truly one of a kind. It was my daily driver 8 years ago, but has been sitting in storage since then, started and driven periodically.
-less than 21,000 original miles
-newer catalytic converter and rebuilt carburetor (will smog fine for the foreseeable future)
-I believe the car color is called 'Autumn Harvest'
-original, pristine vinyl soft top cover
-shag interior carpet
-318 V8
-brand new white-wall tires
-I also have the original gas cap that follows the body line.
-this car has to be seen to be appreciated
-clean title, runs, smogs,
-hood ornament
-turn-light indicators on hood
-AM radio (worked a couple years ago, not sure why it doesn't anymore)
-power windows
-power seats
Drawbacks
-only a small two-barrel carb
-this car was built during a gas crunch, so not only is it not powerful, but it also has terrible gas mileage.
-some small cosmetic dings and scratches
-this car will have to be smogged for the foreseeable future. Who knows if California will ever change it.
-small leak in trunk that I could never find in the weather stripping
-the original owner must have only had the car under a car port with the back of the car exposed because there is some sun damage to the interior, but only in the back
-one of the window doesn't work
-headliner is dropping
There's some other stuff, but, what we have here is one of the coolest looking cars in Santa Rosa. It runs fine, even though I don't drive it often. Whoever buys it should probable have a garage to keep it in since the entire car is 45 years old, inside and out. I'm sure I am forgetting some stuff, good and bad.
No delivery and no trades. Email with questions or interest. My name is Jeff
