Used 1978 Volkswagen Bus Westfalia for sale in Woodstock, IL

For sale is a 1978 project Westfalia VW Bus. The previous owner bought it from New York and drove it to Minnesota before taking apart the engine 10 years ago. It has a CLEAN title. He lost interest and I bought it from him 2 years ago. In the mean time we started to weld in replacement panels including the rear corners and stripped the interior. It still needs lots more work but is one of the most sought after years. I have the original engine dismantled in Woodstock but I bought a 1.7 L rebuilt engine from a 1976 Bus to install in this. The bad: The interior when I took it out a year ago was in great condition (you can see from the photos) but the last year it has been on pallets in a barn patrolled by cats so no mice but it's dirty. There is cobwebs, dirt/dust and bird crap on some stuff but it's a great start to a bus and after looking at it today, I know it would clean up just fine. I have $900 of new items from Bus Depot that will come with it including, trim, windows, interior, rebuilt engine, dismantled engine. It will come with more parts than I even have photos of.
