Vehicle Description
Newly restored CJ7 with 304 V8, MSD ignition, Quadra Trac, automatic, fiberglass tub. Many new parts:
carburetor, fuel tank, radiator, soft top, wire harness, brake parts, steering gearbox, shackles, shocks, exhaust, terminal grounds, etc.
Comes with back seat, hard top, bikini top, spare carburetor (for parts), extra chrome bumper (still in box), manuals, extra 2" exhaust pieces.
I bought it a year ago for $10,500 as a challenging project to work on. Had a great time with it and learned a lot. I put $8,000 and hundreds of hours into it. I did not buy it to flip and make money, and given there are still a few gremlins (which there always are in old Jeeps), I will take $15,500 firm. The gremlins: the motor fires just fines and runs great, but actually fires when the key is being released; and the fuel gauge does not work, even though I installed a new gauge, fuel tank, and sending unit. None of these should be a big deal to someone who knows Jeeps, I'm just at the limit of my skills.
Whoever buys it will be getting a really good deal, especially given all the extras. There you have it!
