Used 1980 Mercedes-Benz 450SL Convertible for sale in Fairfield, CT

Looking to sell my 1980 Mercedes-Benz 450SL convertible. This vehicle was owned by a family friend who recently passed. He purchased the car in 1994 from the original owner and had it garage kept ever since. This car was not driven often, mainly taken out a few times a year for a drive on a nice weekend.

I am asking $18,000 but I am open to hearing reasonable offers.

The car is in excellent condition and everything works
-Cold A/C
-Hot HEAT
-Power windows
-Power antenna
-AM/FM/Cassette radio
-All exterior lights
-All interior lights

In the last 100 miles this vehicle has had:
-All 4 brakes replaced (pads and rotors)
-Full tune-up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor)
-Full service performed
-New battery installed
-All 4 tires replaced

Overall I would rate the condition of this car a 9 out of 10. The soft top is in perfect condition with no tears, stains or rips anywhere. The hardtop is perfect and does not leak. The car also comes with the OEM Mercedes-Benz hard top rolling stand to store the hardtop safely when not in use.

This car was appraised in May 2019 when it had 123,101 miles and was given an ACV of $25,000. Being that it is a 42 year old car, there are some VERY MINOR scratches here and there on the body, but nothing major at all. There is a spot on the passenger front fender where it looks like the previous owner used some touch up paint to repair a scratch (photo attached) and a few inches to the left there is a scratch that touch up paint was NOT applied to (photo attached) aside from that the car is about as perfect as it gets.

The interior is free of any odors or damage/stains/rips.

This really is one of the cleanest 1980 450SL's around and someone would be very lucky to own a car that was cared for and maintained this meticulously.
