Vehicle Description
Selling a 1984 Jeep CJ7 - All messages will be responded to by me to the best of my ability.
Bought in April 2021. Had it Raptor Line (spray on Bedliner) inside and out. The wheel wheels and inner fenders are not raptor lined, but are lined with undercarriage regular black liner.
The jeep has TWO SETS OF NEW WHEELS. It has the white wagon wheels currently, with I believe, 33'' Goodyear Wrangler tires.
It also comes with a brand new set of BLACK Rough Country wheels.
The Jeep runs great and drives. I drove it around 1000 miles last year to golf, gym , work, etc. The reason I am selling is because I am moving about 10 miles away from my current location by town, and I won't drive it on quick fun trips anymore. I don't like to drive it faster than about 50mph due to its age, the lift, no doors, etc., so I have decided to part with it, as it won't get driven to those places anymore.
It has a clean title. Like new tires & wheels. New paint. Brakes & some exhaust New. Lots of new seals, new radiator, some new coolant lines, etc. Newer battery. New windshield frame, with no glass installed.
I do have the original parts like the spare tire holder for the back, windshield frame & glass, wipers, etc. It was too rusted to save, in my opinion, but I can't weld.
It runs good, doesn't overheat. Its longest drive was 20 miles on a 90 degree day last summer, and it did just fine.
It looks nice, but isn't perfect. It has three or four good size dents, but the matte finish we chose hides them decently well. They are obvious on top of them, but the sun doesn't glare off of them due to it being a satin finish.
Comes with new Windshield glass gasket, but no new windshield. The original glass is still good & still in the original blue frame. It has a brand new spare 33'' tire to match for the back door. All spare and original parts I have will be included. I kind of liked the minimalist look personally.
It drives like a boat. I was kind of scared to drive it the first couple times, but got pretty used to it. Some people told me that is just how jeeps are, and some told me it could be that the four inch lift needs shimmed.
Cool vehicle. I get a lot of comments & it is fun to drive around on little short trips.
It is being stored in my dad's heated pole barn. He has requested that only very serious buyers be allowed to see it & I plan to respect that until the weather warms up.
Please contact me with any questions. I'll do my best. The owner before me REPLACED A LOT & really new what he was doing. I basically had it sprayed & drove it. I'm sure I'm missing a lot.
Message me through Craigslist & serious inquiries will be given my #.
Thanks!
