Vehicle Description
Lifted 1984 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia Wolfsburg ed. for sale (~65k on drivetrain)
It comes with a heavy heart to say, that after several years and countless adventures out on the open road, I have to part ways with this beauty. Due to financial, medical and life changes, I've made the reluctant decision to post my van for sale. If you're looking for a reliable antique van in a sea of lemons, look no further. I've owned this van over the course of the last four years and have had the opportunity to complete multiple cross-country trips (with no breakdowns) and spent months of self-contained living throughout the United States. Along the way, I was actually fortunate enough to run into individuals that knew the previous owner of the van and learned that this van has seen it all. From Alaska to Panama, Mexico City to Nova Scotia; this van has seen it and everything in between. With an engine conversion completed by Mike of Metric Motors out of Centerville, UT utilizing an EJ205 engine and a 2-inch suspension lift, this van will take you anywhere you want.fast.
Over the course of the last four years, I have poured my heart and soul into maintaining and restoring this van, expenses alone exceeding $40k between parts and professional labor. All work done on this van has been done so by professionals with invoices and proof to show for it upon request.
The van's body was recently professionally restored which included cutting out all possible rust in the body, which was replaced with Volkswagen factory-grade body metal. Following this, a triple-layer paint coat of VW factory beige and brown paint was applied with smooth finish chip-guard.

In addition to the work and parts listed above, I can include several miscellaneous parts and tools collected for this van that have yet to be installed. Honestly, though this is an exhaustive, yet paraphrased, list of work and parks completed on this van; I'm sure I'm probably missing one or two other things done with this van but want you understand and to rest assured that this van has been the center of my pride and joy for the entirety of my ownership. There are, to be frank, several VERY minor projects that still need to be completed but I wanted to refrain from doing so as I know they are taste-specific. These will include replacing the front cockpit carpet (I can provide professional supply reference at request) and upholstery of sliding door panel.
Please feel free to inquire and come check out the van. All serious offers will be considered but please no low-balling, as I have had this vehicle professionally appraised by several regional and nationally recognised Vanagon specialists to come to my asking price.
