Vehicle Description
1991 VW Vanagon Weekender/Multivan (MV)
$20,000 obo, serious offers only
The sought-after 1991 Vanagon. The final year of the Vanagon. All the wrinkles from the 80s Vanagons have been ironed out. Garage-stored for the last year. Can and has been used reliably as a daily driver, grocery getter, and up mountain roads. This van runs great and has no leaks. The engine was rebuilt in 2003; the paperwork for that is still in the van. The body needs some TLC with some dents and surface rust, but not out of the ordinary for a 30-year-old van. This van gets regular preventative maintenance, and I did my best to upgrade as many aging parts as possible. It currently has Collector’s Plates. We are motivated sellers and would just love for it to go to somebody who can appreciate this van just like we have. This van is ready for all of your adventures and to make it your own.
Engine: 2.1L Waterboxer with 196k miles (rebuilt in 2003). 2WD, manual transmission. New fuel lines, new battery, oil changed as of Oct ‘22. Recently replaced thermostat, starter, spark plugs and cables and dist. cap, fuel filter, belts, coolant hoses, front brake lines, and water pump.
