1997 Suzuki X-90 4x4 with T-Tops

This Amazing condition X-90 has been restored and customized. The paint is Cadillac Metallic Crystal Black with Hand Drawn Custom Dark Midnight Blue Metallic Ghost Flames on each side. The leather upholstery was redone with blue inserts, embroidery and piping to complement the Ghost Flames. X-90's are rare and sought after, they only imported 172 Suzuki X-90's between mid-year 1996 and mid-year 1998 to the United States. 1996 and 1997 are the most desirable models because Suzuki changed the frame in 1998 and the new frame had fewer cross supports. Of those imported only about half was 4x4 and only about half had Automatic Transmissions, but not the same half, in fact LESS than 1/4 of them have 4x4 and Automatic together. Models like this one are getting harder and harder to find and a fully restored model now can cost over 10k and this one should be priced much higher but it was build by someone I consider a part of my family even though she's not related by blood. She's had it for years but is now fighting cancer and transferred it to me asking me to handle selling it for her as she did not want strangers coming to her home as she lives alone and out in the country. As I said it should probably be selling for around 10k but cash is short and so I was told to price it for a quick sale without being stupid. So I think the price I posted is a good range to accomplish that which should make the buyer very happy while also getting cash to her reasonably quick. We are open to Reasonable offers.

I included plenty of high resolution pictures but sorry that it's dirty with rain spots, I'd washed it Monday when it was warmer but by the time I got finished it'd got dark on me sooner than I expected so the first pictures came out too dark, then of course it unexpectedly rained on Tuesday and was windy yesterday. So I re-took new pictures today but realize that now it has rain spots and dust on it. That is not flaws in the paint, just dust and rain spots. The only actual issue it has is the mirror head came loose from the base on the drivers side mirror. The head is in the car and just needs to be re-attached. I was recently told online this is a problem that comes up from time to time because the head is just glued at the factory to the adjustable section of the base and people say to use a special formula of Liquid Nails to re-glue it, I bought the Liquid Nails they suggested only to realize I don't have one of those applicator guns the tube goes in. It's in a tube like caulking comes in and I don't have a caulking gun.
The X-90 shares the frame and entire drive-train with the Suzuki Sidekick (the Tracker sold by Chevy also shared this platform) and this was an amazing original example of the most popular generation of the X-90's/Sidekicks to start with even before the customization. These have been becoming more and more collectible over the past several years and only continue to go up in value each year. Many people also remember the X-90's as the Red Bull cars because Red Bull Energy Drink bought a couple hundred of them back when they first came to the US and painted them blue/silver with big fake Red Bull can mounted on the roof above the T-Tops.

But mostly the X-90 is loved for it's sporty compact size that allows them to fit almost anywhere and with the on-demand 4x4 can go anywhere, and in any weather. This one is ready to go anywhere, I would not be afraid to get in it and drive across the country! They are fun and sporty as traveling cars and you can even get a hidden kit to pull it behind an RV and being a real 4x4 you can drive to places like Moab, UT and then drive it on the trails so you get to see more of the park than people who have to stay on the paved roads. They get great gas mileage. They have removable T-tops and this one still has the often missing inner sunshades and the storage pouch, so few of them still have those.

This one is ready to go anywhere, I would not be afraid to get in it and drive across the country!
Interior is amazing condition; There are no tears, rips, or wear marks anywhere. All of the seats still look like new, the dash looks new with no fading or cracks, the headliner is perfect, all of the inside paneling is like new, the carpets are all clean and outside of maybe needing a routine shampooing still look new with no fading and no wear spots. All the the glass is good. The power windows work smoothly. Everything works just like it should. Still has the original owners manual.

Automatic Transmission, 4x4, Automatic hubs so you don't have to get out to engage the 4x4. Cold A/C, Warm Heat, Power Steering, Power Brakes, The only non-factory item is a nice aftermarket Kenwood AM/FM/CD/USB Stereo System that can also play .Mp3's and has hands-free link for your phone. This one was the premium top of the line version. Currently has 143,747 miles but may go up a little due to driving it a little.

All four of the road tires were just replaced late last summer with really nice 60k mile all-season tires in the stock size and only have about 800 miles on them. The spare does not appear to have ever been on the ground. It's in excellent condition with no dry cracking, etc.

It's never been wrecked but as I said it was repainted a few years ago in the early spring of 2015. It was originally Suzuki Metallic Black but she choose to use Cadillac Metallic Black because it sparkles a bit more. The new paint is a quality single-stage, so no clear coat to peel. We do have the paint-matching color code should you ever need to touch it up.
This generation X-90/Sidekick/Tracker with automatic gets 26-32 mpg via a 1.6L 8V (non-interrupt) throttle-body fuel injected engine. As I said, this one runs wonderfully with lots of pep, does not smoke at all and does not use any oil. The transmission shifts smooth, flawless in fact. The 4x4 system works great and engages smooth and easy and with Automatic hubs you don't have to get out in bad weather to engage the system. The power steering and power brakes all work smooth. All of the maintenance's have been done, in fact this thing has always had excellent maintenance, certainly in the many years she has owned it. The timing belt and idler pulley was changed at 125k miles. All new brakes and shocks were installed the spring of 2015 and they are all still good. The battery was replaced in the winter of 2018.

This is ready to drive anywhere, and I do mean anywhere! But if you live out of town and don't have anyone to come with you to help drive it home I can deliver within a reasonable distance for the price of fuel or a little further for a small fee or I can also pick someone up at the Little Rock National Airport. In either case it would need to be paid for and arrangements made in advance.
