Vehicle Description
Hey there, for sale is my 2000 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport. I've had him for about a year, and just moved and can't afford him anymore. He's in good condition, with good tires, a strong engine, solid transmission, and a decent interior.
The exterior has a number of small dents and paint chips, but is otherwise fairly clean for a 19 year old car. There is one busted headlight/turn signal that needs to be replaced. It'll probably cost you about $100 if you want to replace it, but it has other blinker lights on that side so it's not completely necessary. The interior has a few tears in the carpet but it smells clean (the previous owner smoked, but I managed to get that smell out), and it's surprisingly comfortable. He drives nicely, has decent handling and likes 2nd gear. He won't win any street races but he's a fun ride anyway, and does really well on mountain dirt roads.
Oil changes have been done with full synthetic Mobile1 high mileage every 6,000 miles, but he's due for a new change in about 1,000 miles. No check engine lights, no engine problems, no transmission issues, no braking issues. This car still has a bunch of life in him. Head gaskets and the water pump were replaced by the previous owner.
Being the kind of guy I am, I cut the muffler off, but I still have it saved (it has holes in it though) if you want to weld it back on. It sounds nice though so I wouldn't recommend doing that, although I would recommend extending the pipe to the back and putting a nicer tip on it.
Pros:
-Good engine
-Good transmission
-Handles well
-No collisions
-Two owners (including myself)
-Aftermarket sound system (10" JBL sub, 5 channel 250w Alphasonik amplifier, dual 6.5" kicker speakers in the front, aftermarket receiver) included EDIT: someone stole the amplifier, but you can still have everything else. It's still wired.
-Ski racks included
-Sounds great
Cons:
-Needs an alignment (I might get this done in the next few days, if so I'll edit the post).
-Could use a new wheel bearing in the right rear wheel. You can hear it growling. Doesn't impact performance but it should be done within the next 5,000 miles.
-Small dings on the exterior
-Right passenger window doesn't roll down. I busted the switch taking the door apart. It'll be an easy fix if you buy a new switch.
Text is preferred, but I'll respond to calls or emails as well. 3six0-2six5- 2O67
Asking $2500 , and I'm not in a hurry to sell him. Clean title in hand.
