Vehicle Description
It’s finally time to sell ole Flapjack! A VERY well-loved 2000 Subaru Outback with 299,800 miles, selling for $2000 OBO. Automatic, 2.5 liter 4-cyl, AWD. Power windows, mirrors, and driver seat. Heated seats. Roof rack. Clean title. I was using this as my daily commuter (70 mile round trip) until we recently upgraded.
The original motor was replaced after a timing belt break, with a used motor with maybe 50k fewer miles on it now than the odometer.
As a BONUS, I’m including the old motor for parts or rebuild, as well as an extra full-size tire in pretty decent shape and a tape-to-aux adapter. :-)
See pictures for “quirks.” I’m happy to share more detailed photos individually. Of special note is the broken turning signal column, which needs immediate replacing before turning signals will work. (Hand signals until then!) There is also some home brew exhaust scaffolding underneath that could use professional attention.
It runs currently, however I strongly suggest giving it work before long term use. This car is a fixer-upper and would be best sold to someone interesting in working on it. I’m not trying to misrepresent what I’m selling. This has been a great car through many adventures and will keep on trucking in the right hands. Please email for more details if interested.
(No donut included.)
