Used 2008 Subaru Outback 2 5L for sale in Lafayette, CO

This is a great AWD Subaru with new tires. The vehicle performs extremely well in snow, better than my Jeep Rubicon. This era of Subarus has a notorious head gasket issue to the tune of $2500 - $3000. I am well versed in this issue having had the repair done on three Subarus. However, once the head gaskets are replaced the vehicle is very mechanically sound. Buyers tip, definitely ask the dealership or owner if the head gasket has been fixed if you are looking at Subarus around this age. There is a small crack in the windshield at the bottom but it doesn’t interfere with line of sight. I figured there was no use in replacing during the middle of the snow plow season. My kids have left a few reminders of their presence. There is a small amount of orange paint on the rear seat. Its probably 3 inches x 1 inch. A bit of effort will most likely remove it I just haven’t had the time. There are also some pen marks on the door that would like come out with some solvent. Light hail damage on roof. Registration last year cost $96.82 and insurances is cheap do to the age of vehicle. Passed emissions and does not need to be tested again until 6/17/23. I’d love to keep this car especially after I put $3,000 into in the last month but I acquired the aforementioned Jeep and now have three vehicles. You won’t find a better Subaru with just over 100,000 miles with a new head gasket.
