Vehicle Description
Rare 2010 Wheego Whip EV Electric Car
Cash only, buyer pays transportation costs.
It runs and I have been driving it daily for the last 6 months
This car needs someone willing to work on details.
It looks similar to a Smart Car, but a little larger.
Body and tires in good shape.
It was originally limited to 25 mph, upgraded to a top speed of 38 mph
Current range is about 30 miles on a full charge.
It has 12 x 8 volt lead acid batteries for 96 volts (Good condition about a year old)
Motor is rated at 15 hp, 40 hp peak.
Electric windows and door locks with remote on key. (comes with 2 keys with remote lock/unlock)
Has AC hardware, but currently does not work.
I added 4 solar panels and 2 chargers (adds a few miles free on sunny days)
I added chargers so it just plugs into a 120v outlet to charge.
Many parts for this are from a Suzuki Alto 800 suspension.
This is a rare import electric car from China.
"The Wheego Whip was an early-2010s limited-production all-electric city car developed by Wheego Technologies, made from the bodyshell of the Shuanghuan Noble.[1] A total of approximately 300 units were sold through 2013, when production ceased."
