Vehicle Description
1994 Honda Civic 4S, may run again but probably best for a parts car.
4 door, no body damage, never wrecked as far as I know. I have had is since 2001.
The car has been sitting for 6 years, so the new tires are certainly out of round by now and the battery is dead.
The timing belt broke and I decided to take a chance on replacing it in case the engine was not ruined (It isn't always). I replaced the timing belt but in the process of putting it back together, a rubber piece of the spark plug remover tool got stuck down in the hole around the spark plug. The space is too narrow to insert any tool normally made. I wasn't willing to pay someone $200 (what I was quoted) to remove the piece around the spark plug and I never made a tool that could get it out. I got busy, got another vehicle and there she sat. When the timing belt went, the transmission, AC, heat, and everything except one back window worked well. The rear passenger window will not go down. We had to replace that window after a thief busted it. During the replacement, some plastic piece broke that would allow the window to come down. I also have an extra complete front door, that I was going to take the window mechanism from. You can have that too if you are looking for Honda parts.
To fix it, one would have to get that spark plug and stuck rubber piece out, install a new valve cover gasket and new battery, and hope that the engine was NOT ruined when the timing belt broke. Since that is a risk, it is probably best for someone who can use some of the parts (transmission, body parts, etc.) and junk the rest of it if desired.
I have the title. I may only be able to show it on Fri. eve thru Sun. eve, though you could drive by and look at other times.
