Vehicle Description
Dream for sale.
What I'm offering you is an opportunity to own one of the most versatile and well-built vehicles General Motors ever produced. The half ton, 1500, AWD Express (or Savana) was first produced in 2003 and was made until 2014 when GM, in its infinite wisdom, grew bored of producing vehicular perfection and turned off the tap.
This van is for the person who realizes that inexpensive service, plentiful parts, and ease of maintenance holds value. This particular 2012 AWD Chevy Express is just waiting to be polished off. It's got a paltry ~119,000 miles on it (less than 10k/year) and the proven 5.3L V8 that's in it is ready to make to the 300k+ mark that this van has been known to hit and then keep going. This particular rig has been upgraded with a suspension lift comprised of: new Cognito upper control arms, new lower control arms, skyjacker front shocks, suspensionmaxx cams, bilstein rear shocks, 3/4 ton spring pack + blocks, 33" Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires, Method wheels.
No mechanical issues, AC works as it should, all major services done and routine maintenance completed per manufacturer required schedule.
Accompanying this van is the kit of parts to make it the off-road, off-grid oasis. Two 100W renogy solar panels, MPPT controller, 1000W inverter/converter, battery reader, two 155A VMAX Tanks AMG solar batteries, shore power plug, cables, links, fuse box, shut off switches, cables, LED lights, etc. Plus door panel templates - or door panels if you just want to upholster and fasten. It's a DIY'ers cream dream.
Pending improvement items that can be completed prior to sale: 1) hush mat install under flooring in cockpit, 2) replace rubber floor mat in cockpit with sound deadening upholstery & floor mats. 2) install of Amazing Auto passenger seat swivel (driver swivel already installed).
Prior to sale I'll be taking it to Gaynor Automotive for full bumper-to-bumper & drive train inspection. I don't expect much, if anything, to be uncovered as I've taken very good care of this rig.
The van was recently upgraded with driver and passenger Scheel-Mann seats. The price WITH driver and passenger Scheel-Mann seats is $42,069. Price with the STOCK OEM seats is $36,969. Your call. These prices are as real as the van is and the van is very, very real. Clean title in hand.
Serious inquiries only please, I'm not listing all that there is to this van, see pics for detail and ask questions accordingly.
