This particular La Salle has been the subject of a meticulous 3 year nut and bolt, body off restoration. Photo documentation of the restoration and receipts come with this car.
Originally sold in Tulsa, Oklahoma and registered in Checotah, Oklahoma to W. A. Young in 1939. In 1959 Mr. Young sold it to D.C. Cunningham of Checotah, Oklahoma, where it remained until purchased by the third owner, in Greenville, Texas. It was purchased in the mid 1970s by the current owner who also lives in Durant, Oklahoma. Ownership history is documented with copies of original Oklahoma registrations. It still carries an Oklahoma title.
It has been restored to the highest possible standards using all the original components. The original 322 CI 5.3 L V8 motor was completely rebuilt.
As was the 3 speed transmission. The brakes system was completely rebuilt and suspension rebuilt. It has a new wiring harness.
The body and paint are superb, showing no signs of any damage or rust. All the stainless body trim has been polished. The bumpers have been re chromed.

There are few examples of La Salle’s available, but finding one with the history and quality of the meticulous restoration of this example would be hard to find.
