This very nice example of the 1939 Mercury 8 Sedan represents the first full year of production for the Mercury moniker of Fords upscale division. A very well restored example in its correct color of Jefferson Blue, this example retains its original 239cu in Flathead V8 rated at 95hp and has been well maintained and starts runs and drives well. Refurbished gauges, dash bezel and clock all compliment this cars interior. Period correct Wide Whitewall tires matched to the color keyed factory wheels and MERCURY logo chrome hubcaps compliment the car well.Interior is period reminiscent and provides plenty of room for the whole family or friends to enjoy the drive down memory lane as well. A great parade car, Sunday driver or just about any combination of uses are available for this first year Mercury. This car has the added value of having been owned by the same owner since 1972.
