Here's an interesting car, 1957 Dodge Coronet 2dr Sedan, New Mexico car since day one and it has only been used and driven by the original owner.
At age 85 he stopped driving the Dodge, that was 15-20 years ago.
The Coronet has 84.100 miles, it has the 325 Polyhead V8 and 3 speed Torqueflite pushbutton transmission.
Some floor pan rust on the left front floor and very minor rust in rockers. We have not pulled up the dry and hard rubber floor mat so I am not sure if there's any more floor pan rust.
He ordered the car with tinted glass, dual exterior mirrors, dual rear antennas, the large deluxe stainless gravel guards in front of the rear wheels, radio etc.
We have cleaned out the fuel tank, installed a rebuilt fuel pump, rebuilt the carburetor, rebuilt the brakes, new battery and we have started the engine and driven the car in our parking lot. And the Dodge is getting a new, dual exhaust system installed right now plus the seats were just completely redone.
The paint is original since 1957.
The Dodge is 100% original and untouched since new, it even comes with 2 sets of original aluminum keys, original hubcaps and there's a book in the glove box where the original owner wrote down where he drove, what kind of service the car received.
It looks like almost all miles was put on the Dodge in the 60's, in 1965 for example with 52.000 miles the car got 4 new tires.
PLEASE NOTE, we'll keep working on the car, new seats and a new exhaust system right now and next a complete brake rebuild and after that we'll do whatever floor pan rust repair is needed unless the car sell first. And we'll have to raise the price as we spend money making the Dodge a nicer and better car.
The Dodge is in Phoenix, Arizona.
WE SELL AND SHIP WORLDWIDE SINCE 1986.
