1957 Series 1 Lotus Eleven Le Mans (dedion rear end) powered by a Coventry Climax FWB with twin 45 DCOE Weber carbs. The gearbox is a straight cut close ratio Sprite ribcase. The original engine was an FWA (1098cc) Now has the larger FWB motor (1460cc). Polished aluminum.
Bonnet scoop, cool box and the addition of “Chapman struts”.
Maintained by GMT Racing Newtown CT. Multiple winner of the feature race at the Historic Festival at Lime Rock. This is a blistering fast car. .
