Vehicle Description
Ridiculously Fast 1969 Camaro for sale by owner.. Chevy Performance Magazine featured car, built with the best of everything! This is a time proven car that has 7700 miles on the build. The car is driven on a regular basis and is very reliable for long distance driving. The heavily modified Pat Musi 555 cu-in Big Block Chevy makes almost 900 H.P. The engine recently got a $12,000 refresh and update by Becks Racing engines with more modern and efficient valve train components and an LS firing order camshaft. It kicked ass through 11 Dyno pulls on pump gas to perfectly tune the engine! Power is transferred through a Brand New McLeod twin disc clutch and billet flywheel mated to a built Tremec-TKO overdrive transmission carbon fiber driveshaft and Ford 9" rear with 3:73 gears, its the perfect combination to kill just about anything on the street! Car has not been beaten in a street race, most recently challenged by a new Hellcat Demon! I have owned the car for over 2 years and really enjoyed it, I really don't want to sell it but I recently acquired a new car and I need to make some room. This car is the perfect balance of Classic Detroit muscle, speed, reliability, and function. The chassis is perfectly engineered for locking power down to the ground! I could talk about the car for ever, but below is a list of its components.. There is well over $100,000 invested just in parts alone.. The body and paint are beautiful and its a very nice solid X11 Camaro all the way around! Please feel free to contact me with any questions I can also help arrange shipping.. First and foremost credit for the build needs to go to "Sam E" from Peoria Az..He is a Brilliant engineer and mechanical mastermind! All I have done is enjoyed the car and freshened up the Drive train. The car started life out as a COPO 427 Recreation.. Dart M Pat Musi 555 Handbuilt racing engine.. Designed to run on pump gas and produce over 800 HP "reliably" fed by a Dominator style carburetor, breathing through hand built Lemons headers and stainless Borla Exhaust. The car Revs like a small block and sounds like a super car! Fired by a MSD Power Grid ignition system with full programmable launch control and rev limiter. Tremec built "TKO" 600 overdrive transmission, Brand new McLeod twin disc clutch, PST Carbon fiber driveshaft, Chassisworks custom Fab 9 housing with Strange 35 spline axles and Strange Billet housing 3:70 gears and Billet Lenco Locker Front suspension built with Race Craft tubular control arms, QA1 coil overs, and the rear got Calvert Racing split monoleaf springs with adjustable shocks and Caltrac traction bars. Detroit speed body mounts and subframe connectors. All tied together with a fully tig welded roll cage. Billet specialties wheels, Mickey Thompson street drag radials, with full 4 wheel Wilwood drilled and slotted disc brake setup. Interior- Kirkey aluminum race seats, rear seat still retains factory houndstooth with race belts..Covans dash with Autometer gauges Full wire kit from American auto wire and hid headlights Cooling and charging 4 row aluminum radiator with 2 electric fans, Edelbrock Victor water pump, and a 200Amp CVR billet alternator with brand new Optima battery! This car runs very cool even in hot Phx weather its an amazing machine that's ready to enjoy today!
