Used 1969 Ford Shelby GT500 for sale in Shickshinny, PA

This Shelby had 3 owners prior to being sold to me. I purchased this Shelby from a gentleman who imported and exported Shelby Mustangs and Cobras for many years. This gentleman and I have been friends for all of 25 years. From that point forward, the restoration and history are as follows. Purchased October 19, 2010. Car was purchased from California with original license plate included. Car had been repainted 1 time (skin only) needing attention. With no crash history, I decided to disassemble and mount on rotisserie, as I have never had the opportunity to have a REAL California car. WOW!! What a treat as I have restored and owned quite a few Mustangs and Shelbys. Stripped and cleaned outer skin, lightly sandblasted trunk area along with undercarriage, including all suspension, only revealing minimal light damage to fenders and hood. This Shelby is completely rust free with exception of lower RH door outer front corner. This rust was less than the size of a quarter. The rest of entire vehicle was to say the least INCREDIBLE. The interior is all correct and original with exception of the carpet and top dash pad. The top dash pad was cracked with bad foam. The carpet had a very bad odor along with being dry rotted. As per pictures, rear differential date codes revealed. 4-speed close ratio as per pictures visible. All markings put back to rear differential and transmission were put back as for pictures shown. Engine block 8K-28 cylinder heads and intake manifold are 8L-13 and 12-12-1968 with heads also C80E-N have pictures of engine assembly with heads, intake, and cylinder included. See pictures.
