Used 2014 Ford Shelby GT500 for sale in Manitowoc, WI

The 2014 Shelby GT500 is a spectacular car, but this low mile example has been made even better with $25k in mechanical and cosmetic upgrades. And while Ford should be proud of its 662hp 5.8L engine, this one takes things a step further and now makes a whopping 800hp (more on that later). Combine this with an attractive color combination plus loads of other upgrades and you’ve got a car to get excited about. This Shelby has a clean history and has accumulated only 11,400 miles since new. It has been with its second owner since October 2013 and has been very well cared for during that time. It includes a meticulous driving log and complete maintenance history for those years of ownership, right down to every fuel fill-up and oil change! The red exterior had black vinyl stripes from the factory, but these were replaced with white for a brighter look. The paint remains in excellent condition as do the fantastic 20” chrome Shelby CS1 wheels (the factory wheels and tires are included as well). Note the billet fuel door as well. And then there is the supercharged 5.8L motor originally rated at 662hp. This example has a few proven modifications that bump the power level to approximately 800hp at the flywheel (679hp at the rear tires, dyno sheet included). The supercharger generates more boost through VMP overdrive pulleys. A Kenne Bell intercooler was installed along with a monster 168mm throttle body and GIMME 5 intake. There is also a Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump regulator / booster that delivers more consistent fuel flow and higher capacity during peak demand. Additional parts include JLT oil separators, oil catch cans, and NGK spark plugs. The entire setup has been tuned by Lund Racing and dyno tested. All original parts are included. The motor is mated to the factory Tremec 6060 6-speed transmission using an upgraded McLeod RXT street twin disc clutch and Barton shifter. There is also the the unique GT500 one-piece carbon fiber driveshaft along with a safety loop. This car has many suspension improvements too. Upgraded parts, all from Shelby, include rear control arms, anti-wheel-hop control arm relocation bracket, and adjustable Panhard bar with relocation bracket. There are Strange double adjustable rear shocks. The rear end has been changed to 3.73 gears along with Strange C-clip eliminators and a Shelby rear axle cover. Like the rest of the car, the interior has many upgrades ($4k+) and is in excellent condition. The seats have been re-covered with black and red leather from Shelby (the original covers are included). There are matching parking brake boot and shifter boots. The passenger seat has been upgraded to a factory power setup. All the standard factory features are present, including a nice sounding Shaker audio system with Sirius satellite radio. This Shelby includes every original part taken off the car. It also includes thousands in additional new parts that were never installed. There is a set of Strange double adjustable coilover struts, a 6-point bolt-in roll bar, and a 3-gauge A-pillar assembly. There is also a matching red car cover with white stripes. The 2014 GT500 is an outstanding performer from the factory, but this example goes further with a nice collection of sensible modifications. It has a clean history and has been very well cared for. It will whip almost anything it meets, yet remains reliable and easy to drive. And it is in excellent condition throughout with loads of original and new parts.
