Vehicle Description
After nine years of ownership, it is time for a new adventure, This coupe is equipped with the mighty LS 5, P/S, 3:08 limited slip differential , and M-20 transmission. This is numbers matching car with 107,xxx miles on the clock. The most recent repairs include: 2018: Differential rebuilt by Bair"s Corvette Transmission rebuilt by Ed Hartnett Shifter rebuild kit installed New oilite pilot bushing, LUK flywheel, pressure plate and clutch disk and National Bearing throw out bearing. Freshly rebuilt correct numbers starter Positive and negative Lectric Limited battery cables New differential cross member bushings 2013 Windshield Frame repaired/replaced by County Corvette, West Chester, PA Windshield replaced with a Pilkington with LOF inscription All four wiring harnesses replaced with 3 M&H harnesses and a Lectric Limited engine harness There have numerous other repairs and upgrades with corresponding receipts.. Unfortunately the tank sticker, window sticker and POP are all long gone. The fiber optics work. The parking brakes does hold the car. The passengers side trailing arm was replaced by the previous owner about ten years ago and has about 4 to 5000 miles on it. The driver's side was tight and smooth when I checked while replacing the differential this past summer. All gauges and lights work except for the clock. I found and installed an original movement and it failed within a few months of installation. I have a quartz movement clock that can go with the car if the purchaser so desires or if there is a warm spell and I can get out to replace it. The vacuum actuators for the headlights and wiper door were resealed and re-plated and the wiper door vacuum sequence switch(not sure of the name at the moment) was replaced with the made in the USA version from Wilcox Corvette. The transmission mount and rear snubber were replaced during the summer. The master cylinder was rebuilt two years ago and is correct for the car. The previous owner replaced all of the brake lines with stainless steel. I installed an updated fan clutch and seven blade fan and still have the one that was on the car. A previous owner replaced the brake calipers with stainless steel.sleeved versions and they do not leak. All of the engine compartment vacuum hoses have bee replaced with kits from Dr. Rebuild. Also, the vacuum relays have been rebuilt and re-plated. The previous owner had the steering box rebuilt about 10 years ago and it also have about 4-5000 miles on it. The rear spring and anti-sway bars were replaced by the previous owner and I am in possession of the originals. I also have the original oil filler and radiator caps. The TCS sysytem is installed and fully functional.
