Used 1979 Chevrolet El Camino for sale in Springtown, TX

This car was bought new by my wife’s uncle. I bought it from his kids when he passed away in 2013. Originally it had a 305 cu inch 135 hp engine. After purchase I decided to upgrade the engine to a Jasper 350 cu inch 300 hp. Along with that I put a new Jasper transmission and a dual electric radiator system to handle the increased power. I then added disc brakes on the back and new disc brakes on the front, put a chrome Serpentine Kit on the engine with new chrome A/C, Alternator, Water Pump, Power Steering Pump and various engine related parts. Completely redid the interior including a leather seat and a custom steering well. Added Electric Windows and Door Poppers. Put on a steel Cowl Induction Hood, changed the exterior color from Baby Blue to Red. Replaced various molding and seals. American Racing Rims with Michelin Pilots we’re put on. There were several additional items also added or replaced. I do have a complete list with pricing for everything that was done. The Jasper Engine and Transmission were installed at 124,757 miles on the odometer, they have less than 3,000 miles on them. Total cost was right at 42K, however some issues have come up making it necessary to sacrifice the El Camino at this time.
