Used 1991 Toyota MR2 for sale in Danville, IL

HUGE REDUCTION FROM $7,500 TO $6,000. Our house in Danville has finally sold after a year on the market. Therefore, we will no longer be able to store this car in the garage in Danville. We can either rent a u-haul and tow it to Lees Summit (suburb of Kansas City) or sell it before the closing on 9/21/18. There has been a change in condition, which lead to $500 of the reduction. The last time I was in Danville (1st week of August), I started the MR2 as I do every 3 months. I wasn't going to drive it, but at the last minute before shutting it off, I decided to take it for a 5 mile drive. So I backed it out of the garage and directly into the front fender of my Audi, which I forgot was in the driveway. Other than a huge black tire mark, a small scratch from the Audi's fender, and a cracking of the paint on a line where the bumper condensed and then popped back into shape, there is no damage to the MR2 because the federally mandated 5 mile per hour bumper did its job (not so fortunate with the Audi as I hit the fender, not the bumper). So instead of reducing the car from $7,500 to $6,500, I am providing a further $500 due to this new damage. I am sure you could complete a full repair with sand paper and spray paint in your driveway, but I took another $500 off because I don't have time to get it back to the shape shown in the photos. I am old school and don't have a smart phone, which is why I could not take a picture of the black mark and scratch. But I assure you it is very minor in nature due to the very low speed and rubber bumper. This has been my wife's car since we bought it with 60,000 miles in 1994. Since then she has put only 28,000 miles on it in the last 24 years. We moved to Missouri over a year ago and this is one of 4 cars not going to our new house in near Kansas City. Vehicle has never been wrecked or raced, but it was repainted 10 - 12 years ago. The Toyota white was replaced by a Corvette white. Car is in very good condition with the exception of a crack in the sun roof glass that happened during the repaint (and denied by the shop that repainted it - lesson learned, take photos of car before dropping it off at the shop), a slight crack in the ash tray cover (can't say if the original owner smoked or not, but it has not been smoked in during the past 24 years) and a scratch in the right rear bumper cover where car got too close to garage door opening. Car has never exceeded 70 MPH in the last 24 years, and was only driven in the snow one time when she got caught while shopping by a freak early storm. Car has been garaged since the repaint and was also covered by a custom fit car cover inside the garage. We have decided not to rent storage facilities in Missouri; and since this car was driven less than 200 in each of the last 5 years (and we already have 3 cars filling the garage space in Missouri), it is for sale. It will be stored in the garage of our house in Illinois until that house is sold (which happened 8/21/18, with closing 30 days from that date). I will be in Danville at least twice between now and then, plus could drive over after either of the two Nascar Races at Indy over the Brickyard Weekend (9/8 and 9/9) to show you the vehicle.
