PLASE READ DESCRIPTION IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE CONTACTING ME
Hello, I have a 2000 Lexus LS400 for sale.
19x,xxx miles
Clean title in hand
I have owned it for approximately 3 and a half years, and it had absolutely no issues.
Regular maintenance was performed every 5,000 miles or less with full synthetic oil used with no exceptions.
Great interior and exterior, solid engine and trans.
Every single thing works on this vehicle, other than driver rear window (described below).
New Interstate battery somewhere around a year ago.
Set of winter tires and wheels go with it.
Driver rear door had been replaced by previous owner, as someone had backed into it, the motor for the window had never been reconnected.
Driver rear door color isn't matching, but it works.
It has a little bit of rust here and there, but it's hardly visible.
Now onto why it's so cheap:
*Somewhere around 8 months ago, the alternator went out and while trying to replace it, one of the bolts sheared. I tried everything from welding a nut to it, drilling it out, etc. Nothing worked and I don't have time to fix it. I do however have a new alternator, which will go with it.* I believe this issue could be fixed with an annular cutter (as you'd be cutting aluminum instead of hardened steel) and a threaded insert. A new bolt is obviously also needed.
Probably an hour or two job that would cost you approx $50-$55 (if you did it yourself) and you'd have a strong running Lexus.
It does still run, and it ran very well prior to the alternator going out.
It was my daily driver prior to the alternator issue.
I can start it for you if you'd like.
It's taking up space and I have no need for it anymore.
IT WILL NEED TO BE TOWED
I want $1,500 OBO for it, or I'd trade for a 1PH 230v milling machine in good condition but I'm interested in much more, don't be afraid to offer. I will consider all reasonable offers.
Please contact me via phone, either text or call, and if I don't answer please leave a voicemail or text and I'll get back to you ASAP. My phone number is show contact info .
Thanks for looking!
