I’ve done some work on her, mainly because of little use: top retract mechanism reconditioned by Crescent In Raleigh. Tony’s in Wilmington went over the car, removed, disassembled and cleaned turbo, replaced battery, starter and changed oil. AC runs cold, carpet is spotless and seats only have minor wear. You can pop-in a cassette or listen to your favorite tunes from a 6-disc CD changer. It even includes some really quirky Swedish gizmos like headlight wipers and a weather radio. Car comes with all manuals and shop guides.
Saabs are legendary for their quality and longevity. She’s a perfect beach ride but will run cross-country at interstate speeds. Want to go to Florida? “Put that rag down and head on south to the Keys.”
If you want an affordable, fun European sports car with some real flair, Sunny may be for you. I’ll miss her dearly but circumstances demand a different type of vehicle.
