1990 Isuzu Trooper 2.6 4 cyl. 4ze1 engine, 5-speed manual, Superwinch manual locking hubs, 184,284 miles, Adventuro M/T GT Radials 70-75%, Custom (rattle can) OD green and black two-tone paint job, tow package w/4-wire flat, roof rack, bull elk bugle with hidden button under dash. Custom heavy duty front bumper with 2" hitch receiver where 1200 lb. Badlands wireless remote winch WAS mounted as in picture. Winch is now removed. If you want to keep the winch set-up that will be $400.00 extra, no haggle on this. Everything is there for installation. I removed for a flake buyer who was going to buy the Trooper and did not want the winch and then never showed up. Winch actually used only twice. Trooper electrical hook up for towing is rolled up neatly under the hood for towing that uses the lights on the Trooper. 4-flat plug and play. Home made towbar that goes with it. Have towed it thousands of miles on huntin' trips with this set-up. This is a 4WD huntin' rig and goes where you point it. All solid running gear and suspension etc. Interior pretty nice. Custom drawer set-up in rear. Handy. Spare tire, jack etc. Parked it in August running perfect. Went to take her for a drive to circulate the fluids etc on 10/17. Hard starting (never hard to start before) ran crappy and died. Won't start. Ran codes, got code 41 "crank angle sensor". Sensor is located in the distributor. Parts Geek has the whole distributor for $347.43. Just the sensor itself is around $100.00 depending on where you buy it. Has fuel pressure right at throttle body and I went through the air intake. All good. Just code 41. I'm not going to mess with it as I no longer need the Trooper. This trooper has only one equipment option and that is a/c. Blows COLD. WE are talking roll-up windows and no tilt/cruise here. Fix the crank angle sensor deal and you've got the rugged go anywhere 4X4 you always wanted!
