Vehicle Description
I'm listing this for a long-time aged female friend (non-smoker) who has a small car collection for sale in Tennessee (she does not do the internet). She is 70, retired, and moving into senior living so she has about 10 gorgeous very desirable cars for sale. As she is downsizing, she is NOT open to any trades (sorry).
She's enjoyed this fully restored '64 Tbird Convertible that comes with 2 binders full of documentation. The car is all original, sold new in NJ and currently in dry Tennessee. This car appears to have led a very sheltered life for its qualities. Full restoration including original Corinthian White Paint over red vinyl interior, Black hartz soft top etc.
Every oil change, receipt etc. from new has been carefully saved/preserved to document this car. All panels are straight and damage-free save for the rear upper deck where it impinges slightly on the panel behind the rear seat. It's a paint-touch-up sort of repair and likely needs alignment that this senior hasn't been able to address. The body is straight, with good panel alignment and no signs of rust anywhere. Paint color is vivid 2-stage base/clear urethane. Engine starts easily, no trade-mark blue smoke indicitave of any internal wear, and the transmission shifts thru all detents as it should. Top is in great shape and works fine. 4 new tires and new exhaust in 2018. The front seat covers were not in bad shape having a minor seam-split, but owner replaced them with new for optimum quality. This is 1 of 2 T-birds she owns (the other is a '62 Tbird Conv with Roadster Pkg). She has other gorgeous cars for sale which I encourage you to look at by clicking the "More ads by this User" link.
Interested parties should call CA in TN directly at show contact info for inspection/purchase.
I believe this will sell to the first person who drives it as it rides gracefully down the road.
I feel this car is safe enough to fly in/drive home for any interested distant buyer.
Buyer will be asked to sign a car club buyer's agreement with the customary "As-is/where-is" language.
Please share this with interested people on social media and elsewhere.
